Revlon's Scented Not So Blueberry looked like lilac w/a tinge of blue when I first applied

But the next day, it looked the opposite - blue w/a tinge of purple. And it looks nice on my fingers.

Since Watson is having the buy-2-get-1-free for Revlon pdts, plus I was looking for a lilac color, I also bought the scented Gum Drop.

The online swatches give me a mixed feeling. Cos it is a tad too opaque for my liking. Now I'm keeping fingers crossed that it will not look too ghastly on me.

Nevertheless, I am tempted to get the other colors from this range. Namely ...

Grape Icy

and

Ocean Breeze

Another Detour

Since I am willing to pay (and almost bought) THIS for office-use. I decided to make a trip to the shops. Hoping to find a similar pair of sandals.

And I saw this pair of bohemian-looking sandals. The sole is spongy-like (aka soft). The underside looks solid enuf to withstand the daily-use.

Plus I am in a buying-mood. So a quick glance at  the price tag, then off to the cashier.

Supposedly

I was supposed to buy the Polytar. Only.

I was supposed to look for lavender-colored nail polish. Only

But ...

I know my nail polish remover is *almost* finished.

I know I have used finished two colors of the nail polish.

I know I like the concept of applying the quick-dry thingy.

So ...

Since Watson has the buy-2-get-1-free for Revlon pdts.

Since I am a Watson member.

Total damage = 60 buckeroos

Bought this many moons ago.

But I didn't have the guts nor chance to wear ... until now.

A Quick Trip + A Detour

I was supposed to perm me hair. But being the lazy me, I decided to hold it off until the voucher is nearing its expiry date in Sept 2012.

So I decided to make a quick trip to Watson since they are having some GSS. I just wanted to check out the hair pdts. It took me a while to locate the Pantene Clinicare. And I was impressed with the packaging. It took me several looks before I decided to grab the hair time renewal & frizz defense conditioner. This will be the morning's conditioning. I will try the whole range once I am done with my current stash.

Right before I made payment, I remembered that I wanted to chk out the whitening products too. Namely Olay & L'Oreal. I was distracted by a promoter who introduced me to an oxygen spray which is selling at half the price of $13.50. Well ... being the cheapo I am PLUS the goodness (7x oxygen = effective in removing pigments and general whitening) claimed by the promoter, I bot two of the sprays - one for moi, the other for mummy dearest.

On the same detour, I restock on my Salonpas & EverStrong Mask. After I left the shop, I realized that I shud have bot the Clinicare's hair-time renewal mask instead of EverStrong. Nevertheless ....

Along the way home, I dropped into Popular to ... to ... Ok, I was greatly distracted by the 20%-member-sale sign. And yes, I did buy a book. I was super tempted to grab a few books under the buy-2-get-1-free section. But I resisted cos I need to re-check on my titles at home. O'wise I will have duplicate copies of books.

So the total damage for that QUICK trip was 85 buckaroos. Altho it was a tad pricey than expected, it was worth it.
