I know this day will come.
I know it’s a matter of time.
But I didn’t expect this.
I. Didn’t. Expect. This.
I am not looking forward to this Saturday.
I am not looking forward to the verdict.
I don't dare to think of my reaction to it.
************************************
I cannot see you Mommy, when you cuddle me so near.
And yet I know you love me, it's in the words I hear.
I cannot see you Daddy, when you hold me by your side
But still I know you love me when you tell me so with pride.
I cannot see to run and play out in the sun so bright
For here inside my tiny head it's always dark as night.
I cannot see the treats you give when I am extra good
But I can wag my tail in Thanks just like a good dog should.
"She cannot see. The dogs no good" is what some folks might say
"She can't be trained, she'll never learn She must be put away."
But not you, Mom and Daddy You know that it's alright
Because I love you just as much as any dog with sight.
You took me in, you gave me love and we will never part
Because I'm blind with just my eyes, I see you in my heart.

A Crafty Christmas

These were my Christmas presents to my colleagues. Only those whom I work closely with, ie.
This is for my Dept PA.

This is for my lady manager.

This is for my Executive.

Speaking of crafts, I'm finally DONE with my SAL. Now have to go get the frame. I have two frames in mind. So am contemplating to get it tonite from IKEA or this Friday. Think most likely tonite cos my office is so near to IKEA. Will post pics once I'm done framing it. *wink wink*

It's Beginning To
Look a lot like Christmas
Everywhere you go
I've finished the tree, except for a few details. Now I'm working on the border. Luckily there are 12 days to Christmas (according to the song, ie). With that, I still have some time to finish this project and still able to hang it up for Christmas

My Multi Layered Cake
The 1st two being due on Christmas.
But I doubt I can finish my SAL. Cos the border needs lots of work. So maybe I'll put that aside and work on the Christmas Gifts.

I. Am. Almost. There.
My X’mas SAL is almost finished. In fact, I’m already done with it, except for a few more details. Then I’m gonna put a border around it. Cos of a BIG error I've made which I dun wanna talk abt it. The more I thought of it the more pissed I am with meself.
Yes, I’ve finally found a border design which emits the Christmassy feeling. And also (hopefully) won’t damage the elegance of the design. Keeping my fingers crossed that I can finish it by tonite so that I can send it for framing and get it up on display by Christmas. With that, I can post a pic of the complete work before framing.
Gosh!!! I. Am. So. Excited.
Speaking of which, I’ve finally placed my order for these two books which I came across from this blog.
* Petits points & Toile de lin (Broché)
* Répertoire des frises : Plus de 1100 bordures, angles et ornements à broder au point de croix (Broché)
And guess what??!! They’ll arrive just in time for my birthday. Yes!!! It’ll be my birthday pressies to myself! Awesome!!!
After this, it’ll be Noah’s Ark turn. Deadline is CNY-08.
Yes, it’s about time I set a deadline for it. O’wise you-know-who will be poking at me ribs abt it. LOL!!!!
But ... before I can start on the Noah's Ark, I have to work on some x'mas presents for Jnr's student care teachers.
Busy. Busy. Busy. *cheesy grin*

I. Am. A.
Romantic Freak.
Bwahahahaaaaaa!!!!
You see, I’ve been watching The Holiday non-stop during these two days. Ok, not exactly non-stop. Three times to be exact. All thanks to Cable TV.
And I’ve fallen deeply in love with it. Or more like the idea of renting a vacation home for the holiday. It definitely beats going to a hotel. Ok, it’s not that I’ve been away on a holiday before. Still, it’s an innovation idea.
Of cos, able to catch a hunky fella during the holidays is mega bonus. No doubt abt that. *wink wink*
Haiz!!!!!
Dream on … Dream away ….

This is why
I love the English Language.
**********************************
Extracted from this book:
The second Anne was out of earshot, Sara whispered, "That bastard."
Carried nodded. "Now I've got another reason for wanting to get out of this alive. I'm going to kill that son of a bitch."
Sara nodded. "You hold the gun, and I'll pull the trigger."
**********************************
If I was not in the bus while reading that statement, I'd be laughing my ass out loud manz!!!
I mean, how else can you describe two scorned women's greatest desire to shoot off a man's balls??!!
I was really blown by it.
I still got a kick out of it whenever I reread that statement.
**********************************
Yes, I am working my way towards the BA in English.
Speaking of which, I've just found something new ... something which can help me achieve my goal in getting that BA in English. But I've got to do some homework on it 1st.
But still ... it could be the one. Yes, it could be the one. It has to be the one.
Oh, LORD, pls make it be the one.

My First Court Session
“Objection, Your Honour!”
Quoted from here:
For Yourself
Other than giving love in relationships and giving your best at work, remember to give hope, chance and love to yourself too. We often hear others say "I would like to upgrade myself but the course fee is too costly", "how I wish I were as capable as him", "I don't think I am good enough for that" etc. They limit their potential, growth, and achievements in terms of their current financial status, skills, and situations.
Limits are real only when we allow them to stop us from doing more. I know of those who have not let the "lack of money" stop them from taking up the course that they want, those who have gone on to acquire the difficult skills needed to fulfill their dreams, and those who have overcome limitations and challenges to achieve abundance in their lives.
Re the 2nd paragraph. I simply cannot afford to fork out that much no matter how much I scrimp and save.
“Objection overrule.”
But I am working towards it. So I am still not so far off from here as quoted below:
As I watched the movie, I took down some notes for personal learning, among which is this very motivational story:
"There are two farmers who needed rain desperately. Both prayed for it, but only one went out to prepare to receive it. Who do you think trusted god to bring the rain? - The one who prepared for it of course. Which side are you on? God will bring the rain when he is ready, you got to prepare your field to receive it."
My personal interpretation of this story:
God is whoever we define him to be. Whatever it is that we are pursuing will be brought to us by the POWER of FAITH, PERSEVERANCE, & PREPARATION. The question is, when the "rain" (desired outcome) is brought to you, are you still on the field? Or have you given up and moved to somewhere else?

I Can’t Believe It!!!
I’ve been hit.
By PMS.
All along I never believed in PMS affecting the mood swing. The only PMS I experience is extreme tummy upset.
Now I know why I get so worked up so easily this past week.
DUH.
Bwahahahaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
**************************************
EDITED TO ADD:
To be frank, I've been surrounded by lots of bad vibes these past wks. Therefore my mood swings do have a logical reason behind it.
Everyone (except family) has been bitching non-stop about anything & everything.
And it's affecting me so much that I am having the first and worst mood swings of my life.

I have so much fun
Decluttering my wardrobe. So much so that I’ve managed to declutter 2% of my mum’s wardrobe that sent her into a fit. LOL!!!!!
All thanks to Peter Walsh, I have managed to clear 50% of my wardrobe. All of which I have not worn for the past 6 months. All this is done in anticipating for the new "shipment" at the end of this month.
Yes, I’m gonna make use of the festive season - esp the pre-Xmas sales - to replenish my wardrobe. And also to add some colors to it.
Now I have to decide on an auspicious date to launch this project. And also whether to include the Empress dowager or not.
The next area to declutter is my drawer of little trinkets.
*rubbing my hands in anticipated glee*

This Vs That
Too little of everything is not good. Neither is too much of everything.
But again, everybody is bitching abt everything being too little and too much.
Too little me-time.
Too little monetary benefits.
Too little monetary compensation.
Too little appreciation.
Too much work.
Too much unpleasantness.
Too much gossiping.
Too much bitching.
I am oh so unfortunate to be surrounded by lots of bitching & gossiping at work recently.
If I don’t join them, I’d come across as aloof and snobbish.
If I join them, I am demoralizing myself.
I already have some issues at work, demoralizing me further will make things worse. So I became a bystander, making noise once in a while to make my presence known. Again, there’ll be people bitching about me being what-ever-names-they-can-come-up-with.
Damn them to hell and never to come back.
Yes, I can bitch too. I am allowed to bitch. I have the right to bitch.
So sue me.

What’s your Outlook in Life?
Positive?
Negative?
Neutral?
For me, ever since my D, negativity is no longer in my vocab. You can say the D has woken me up to a brand new world. A world created by me and for me. Of course, I have “neighbours” too. But I can choose to ignore them if I deemed fit. So my outlook in life is either a positive, neutral and/or both.
There’s this saying “You cannot please everybody”. With that, I only live to please myself and those I love & care about. This world is all about the Take-It-or-Leave-It attitude. For me, if I can take it, I’ll take it. At the most, you are not my friend. Just an acquaintance in my life.
After my D, I’ve learnt to “take it”. Yes, mostly cos I have no choice in the situation. So I make the most out of it. One must hv a positive outlook in life in order to survive. Esp in the office politics. As the saying goes “If you can’t beat them, join them”. Unfortunately, I’ll be killed instantly if I joined them. LOL!!! So I decided to create a new “role” for myself – a bystander. I stand outside the ring watching the live show. Still, I need to join in once in a while to make my presence known.
Too bad, I am often surrounded by people with a negative outlook. Thus influencing me now & then. So I tried to gear myself back in line. And thankfully, I managed to do so. O’wise my life will be full of sorrows.
****************************
Onto a lighter note, I’ve been busy with my hands these past weeks.
Rushing a few handmade pouches as X’mas gifts for my colleagues.
Rushing to finish the SAL to be displayed for X’mas.
Rushing to get my SB-mojo back to start on my sb’g.

Jack of All Trades, Master of None
That's me, alright.
I know how to stitch, but not skilful enough to sell finished works. Or even to sell my own designs … if I did design. LOL!!! (Speaking of which, I did design one sampler but I have no idea where it is right now. Kekekeeeeee!!!!!)
I know how to sketch, but it’s an skill that has gone rusty.
I know how to scrap, but it’s not enough get my works published.
I understand the English Language better than anybody, but it’s not enough to embark on a career related to it (think education).
I know how to sew, but not skilful enough to sell my finished products.
I know I am a lot of things but I dunno which one is the real me.
Ok, not exactly that.
I know the English Language is in my blood. It’s just a matter to working on it. But priorities set me back by 2 steps whenever I move 1 step forward.
So what now?
I just sit back and enjoy life as it.

Now I have
2 handcarry totes ... which I will NEVER use.
So why did I do them? Cos I have the mood for it and it's good for my soul.
Yeah, as if. Kekekekeeee!!!!
On another note, I was tagged by the Duchess. But I am contemplating to continue with it or not. Cos I can't think of 5 other persons to tag. Let me sleep over it for another night and see how.
