Using the Happy Call Pan, I churned out a Seafood Platter for lunch today. When I did the normal stir-fry, the fish was tough & dry, as if I had overcooked. With a lil bit of olive oil in the pan (to get the charred look), the fish turned out just nice - tender and not dry. I still need more practice for the sotong & prawns. A tad overcooked.

The Empress Dowager loves the Blended Orange Cake so much that she made it again. But with some changes. First she used fine sugar. Then she reduced the 1 cup oil to 1/4 cup. The outcome is a super light & fluffy texture. So much so that I need 4 pieces to be satisfied with it. !! YUM !! YUM !!

GC's CL teacher just called to inform me that GC has been placed in a weekly remedial class wef tomorrow, Saturday, 3pm. I was googling online for any promotions / lucky draw for the premier screening of the Eclipse on 1 July. And when I chanced upon this, I pulled in a fellow Twilight-fan-gf and registered for it. And lucky us!!!! We managed to get a pair of tickets. Upon collection of the tickets, we were surprised to be told that Ch5 had kindly sponsored the tickets for this screening. WOW!!!
